Janina Blazukiene is a traditional craftswoman who nurtures and popularized the craft of weaving old fabric. Janina has been working as a weaver since 2006, but she got acquainted with this field of folk art from a young age. In 2015 the weaver's works have been awarded a national heritage certificate.

National costume is a unique product. This is not a mass-produced product. It is woven, sewn, created, so it takes quite a long time. Weaving includes the old traditions of the Lithuanian nation, their

perception, ornamentation, a lot of handwork is required. National clothes made from hand-woven fabrics are much more durable and do not wear out.
